Barley

Besides it's a commonly used ingredient in cereal, Barley is also used all over the world, livestock feed, and malt products. Our farmers have been growing barley for generations and are up to date when it comes to using the latest technology in its production.

When it comes down to livestock feed, some of our barley contains a high starch and protein content that gives the meat a white marbled texture. This texture makes the meat products more appealing to consumers.

Many people consider barley as a superfood due to its many benefits when compared to other grains. It has less fat and calories, has higher fiber, and is an excellent source of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.

Besides its health benefits, the demand for barley is going to rise due to it also being the key ingredient of beer production. Markets are speculating the beer industry to grow by 7.3% by 2020, in the Asia Pacific region alone.
