CANARY SEED

Saskatchewan's food-grade canary seed production makes up 90% of Canadian export of this product, and our farmers are responsible for growing this crop to support the demand.

Whole canary seeds are used to make granola bars, salads, and other dishes. It is tasty and healthy because of its nutty flavor, and it is also gluten-free and high in protein. Its taste profile makes it an excellent ingredient in cereal. Food processors will also mill it into flour to make bread, cookies, and pasta.
